We're building the publishing house we wished existed — one that puts the story first.

Lion Publishing exists to find and back books people actually want to read. No committee-approved messaging or DEI requirements or forced ideology. Just writing that's worth your time.

    Story first

    Our first question during acquisition: Is this book good? Everything else is downstream of the story. While we consider marketability and potential sales, we're not seeking authors or books that fit into identity specific boxes.

    Dropping the agenda

    Publishing shouldn't be a left- or right-leaning industry — but it's become one. We're changing that. Instead of forced political agendas, we look for works that stand on their own.

    For discerning readers

    We refuse to chase trends or compromise our standards to make an extra dollar. Our loyal audience is made up of normal people who want books they can feel good about reading, and that's who we answer to.

    Easy to share

    Our books are built with integrity and traditional values in mind. They often address dark and challenging topics, but they will never glorify characters, ideals, or circumstances that are destructive to a healthy Western society.
