While other children were reading Green Eggs and Ham, Zach was introduced to the faraway lands of Middle-Earth when a Hobbit named Bilbo and Gandalf the Wandering Wizard took him on an enchanted adventure. Since then, he has thrived in the realms of swords, sorcery, and fierce, fire-breathing dragons. To the Keep is his first novel, where he invites readers on a new, yet familiar, quest.
When he's not writing about Malkins, epic swordfights, dungeons, and/or dragons, he is working on his counseling degree, attending church at Grace Fellowship, or taking the stage with Theatre at Tusculum or the Greeneville Theatre Guild. He currently resides in Greeneville, TN, with his family, but thrives in the neighborhood of make-believe.
